Permanent Pile Reversal Shading, Watermarking
A feature of all cut pile carpets, including twist piles and patterned carpets, is the phenomenon known as “Permanent Pile Reversal”, “Shading” or “Watermarking”.
This is a random effect, not necessarily confined to traffic areas, and is not a manufacturing fault.
