Naturals Information.
Prestige Carpets “Naturals” Collection comes directly to you from the sheeps back. Well, that’s not technically correct. The yarn goes through a number of processes to make it into carpet but NO dyes are used. It’s pure, undyed, and as the label says….Natural! As we use no dye in the production, the colours of our carpets are as you would find in nature. Rich and earthy tones. This means there can be colour variances across each production batch. Prior to installation your retailer can supply you with a sample from the exact production batch for your approval; we advise you should take this opportunity to ensure your total satisfaction.
Permanent Pile Reversal Shading, Watermarking.
A feature of all cut pile carpets, including twist piles and patterned carpets, is the phenomenon known as “Permanent Pile Reversal”, “Shading” or “Watermarking”.
This is a random effect, not necessarily confined to traffic areas, and is not a manufacturing fault. This carpet falls within the perameters of one that is likely to exhibit these characteristics and we urge you to discuss them with your chosen carpet retailer prior to making a final decision to purchase. Further information is available from your retailer. The carpet institute of Australia’s technical bulletin No 3 “Shading” further explains the above warning.
